lighting blog task

-There is low-key back/under lighting.
-The lighting is used to show the side of the character's body and face and to create a shadow for the rest of the body, this shows suspicion and mystery.
-smoke in the image connotes that the character is relaxed and poised.

-low-key lighting suggests the character might be abandoned or is in need of help.
-There is also top-down lighting which is being used which vividly shows the characters face and glamorizes her face.
-The top-down lighting also shows the character's innocence.

-high-key lighting is used throughout this film poster. More specifically, top lighting is used in this poster as you can see shadows under the characters eye in the poster. 
-This would make the person look much more dominating and powerful as there is a clear possible spotlight being shined on the character.

-you can tell that low-key lighting has been used as well as top lighting. 
-This presents the character in the poster as a possible antagonist as a result of the way the characters face is half left as a shadow, making the identity of him remain anonymous because he may be a possible criminal.

-There is backlighting of an object which runs across the character this could signify the danger the character is in. As she also has a frightened expression on her face.

-We can see that low-key lighting has been used. 
-In combination with the image, the low-key lighting creates an intimate and romantic atmosphere.
-Also, there is light going through the blinds creating an effect of warmth.

-This darkness on them can show us the evil intentions they may have.
-Furthermore, we see backlighting creating a silhouette for the characters bodies which can reveal to us the antagonistic nature of the characters.

-The grainy effect of the picture creates an effect of horror and shock.

-The picture uses high-key lighting with filler lighting to dispel of most of the shadows
-high-key lighting in combination with the character highlights the characters pain and torment.
-However, the character also looks grateful as the light is giving us a clear view of her.

-Back-lighting highlights the knife to show us how the character may immoral intentions.
